I absolutely treasure my time with God in the mornings. It’s the calm before the storm and the time I desperately need to equip myself for the day’s work, stress, and surprises. I love God and the thought of starting my day with Him is what gets me out of the bed in the morning.
Lately I’ve been reading through Psalms for my early morning quiet time. A reference book I find beneficial with Bible study time is Nelson’s Complete Book of Bible Maps and Charts, which explains there are many types of psalms, one of which is psalms of thanksgiving. So I decided that this, being the week of Thanksgiving, would be a great week to focus on those selected Psalms. And in case you’re interested in reading through the list, I’m happy to share it with you now.
